Reading and writing and an ocean, OH MY!
We're headed to a wonderful place up north on this retreat. Seward is a small town with a big heart and deep roots in Alaska's maritime history. Comfy summer temps, spectacular mountains, approachable adventure, and cozy quarters are the backdrop for summer camp with Jedidah Jenkins.
This 6-day/5-night gathering will be a chance to hike, kayak, and put pen to paper, with Jed. It’s more adventure and nature-basking than writing retreat, but we’ll do some writing exercises to help translate the beauty into words.
And it's SUMMER SOLSTICE. With almost 24 hours of daylight each day, there will be time for everything: walking across a glacier, sea kayaking, wildlife viewing by boat, and immersing yourself in salt life with new friends.
Summer in Alaska is glorious and the Kenai Peninsula is our playground.
The Nauti Otter yurt village will be our base for fun under the sun.
The Nauti Otter in Seward is a compound of comfy glamp-style yurts on private forested property close to town. At the center of the property is a covered deck for group dining with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and plenty of space to learn, visit, connect, and relax.
