- All Ground TransportPick up from the Cordova (CDV) airport, transportation to & from all outings, and return to CDV airport in comfortable, spacious passenger vans.
- Fishing - and Catching!Professionally guided boat and stream bank fishing for salmon, halibut, rock fish and cod (up to 50 pounds per person may be kept; includes processing and packaging for the trip home).
- Glacier KayakingPaddle two-person kayaks in and around magnificent ice features through pristine Alaskan still water pools.
- Trail OutingLet's take a hike together. We'll explore the Copper River Delta, which drains one of the most vast (25,000 square miles) and pristine watersheds in the world.

What’s not included
- AirfareAirfare into & out of Cordova, AK, on its *ONCE DAILY* jet. Arrive 6/19/26 Alaska Airlines Flight 66; depart 6/24/26 Flight 61. Book your flight early please :) Jed's trip will fill up the plane.
- The Whale's TaleDelicious espresso, tea, chai, and housemade chowder and soups at the lodge owner's onsite coffee shop.
- SouvenirsMementos you discover in this hamlet by the sea.
- AlcoholGuests are welcome to purchase drinks in town and BYOB at the lodge, storing their items in the dining hall. We'll also visit the town's mini-mighty-micro brewery.
- Trip ProtectionTrip protection via insurance and a separate membership to LifeMed Alaska are recommended. Please speak with an independent agent to explore the best coverage for you, your stuff, and your trip.

A really incredible experience so thoughtfully and meaningfully curated by Kim. Our guides were not only knowledgeable and experienced but incredibly curious and eager to learn with us and passionate about sharing their love for Alaska and running. The accommodations were lovely and quaint and we ate well every day. Loved every minute of it!

There aren't enough stars to rate the wonder, beauty, and the absolute adventure that was this trip.
The itinerary was perfectly set, a fine balance of exploration, Alaskan culture, and meaningful connection.
The food was always 10/10 and our hosts: Kim, Jed, the Orca Lodge, Jackson, and Alaska herself, treated us well and made us feel like old friends. This trip exceeded my expectations. It left me wanting more and I cannot wait to go back.
Oh and heads up: Really interesting, cool people go on these trips. This trip attracted the most kind, generous, curious, spiritually-awake humans...and I got to hang out with them all week long. Cordova tapped us into a current that felt celebratory, there was collective joy and lifelong friendships were born. Thank you Cordova. You are forever in my heart.

An unbelievably wonderful experience! We had such an amazing time kayaking through ice bergs, hiking through beautiful scenery, and fishing for some delicious Alaskan fish! Kim did an amazing job planning our week out and the staff at Orca Lodge was impeccable. The food was so delicious and the service was wonderful. Highly recommend the entire experience!

It was absolutely spectacular. I can’t say enough good things about this trip.
It will be a core memory I will carry with me forever.
The location, the people, the food, the experience is like nothing I have ever experienced. It felt magical.
